Reimagining Women’s Mental Health
Women’s mental health care typically focuses on pregnancy, parenthood, and spousal issues. While that is essential, women are far more than mothers and wives. You deserve access to care that affirms you as an individual outside of the roles you play in other peoples lives. You deserve care that makes space for personal, professional, and more global concerns while understanding how gender related barriers can influence those concerns. This is why I opened Grey Matter Wellness in 2020.
My Experience
I have worked in both clinical and research settings since 2012. Five of these years were at a neuroscience center which is where I completed my graduate level clinical training under the supervision of a board certified clinical neuropsychologist.
My experience working in healthcare, specifically neurology research, has helped me to better understand how to blend neuroscience, traditional wellness practices, and psychotherapy to see and support my client's whole being.
I have also worked in adolescent residential treatment, geriatric outpatient, community based crisis intervention, outpatient autism and behavioral assessment, and non-profit settings.
